Police contend Raleigh man used car as weapon

A Raleigh man is in the Wake County Jail this sunrise after military pronounced he purposely swerved his car in to the trail of an additional vehicle, severely injuring the motorist of the second vehicle.

Andrian Bermel Edwards, 27, of 900 Lake Front Drive, Apt. E, Raleigh, is charged with attack with a lethal arms with vigilant to kill, attack with a lethal arms inflicting vicious damage and misconduct kid abuse, according to detain records.

Police pronounced Edwards, his girlfriend, Katrina Elenda Harris, and their 4-year-old kid were roving in a car when an evidence began. Police pronounced Edwards swerved the car in to a car driven by 70-year-old Julia Murphy Raynor of 642 Raleigh St., Newton Grove.

Police pronounced he swerved the car with the vigilant to kill Harris. The collision occurred about 8 p.m. Tuesday nearby the intersection of Sawmill Road and Longstreet Drive.

Raynor is in vicious condition at WakeMed Raleigh Campus. Harris and the kid were not severely injured.

Edwards is being hold but bond.
